TENNESSEE — Family, friends, and community members are mourning the tragic loss of 19-year-old James W. Coulson Jr., who died following a two-vehicle crash on Highway 111 in the Cagle Mountain area on Monday, June 8, 2026.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at approximately 10 a.m. Investigators reported that Coulson was driving a 1993 Chevrolet Silverado southbound on Highway 111 when his vehicle crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming vehicle. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene, but despite their efforts, Coulson succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. Authorities later identified him after notifying his family.
