MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. — Hennepin County sheriff’s deputies came under gunfire late Tuesday morning while attempting to serve an arrest warrant in Minneapolis, prompting a significant law enforcement response and an ongoing public safety operation.
The incident occurred near the intersection of West 28th Street and Nicollet Avenue South in the city’s Uptown area. According to the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were serving a warrant when shots were fired in their direction.
